In the heart of La Nou de Gaià, between the Mediterranean sea breeze and our organic vineyards, we craft minimal-intervention wines that express the landscape, the passing of time, and each vintage just as it is. No additives, no rush. Just grapes!

We believe that great wine begins in the vineyard. That is why we practice organic farming, working in harmony with nature's rhythms. Every bottle reflects our terroir, the Mediterranean sea breeze that cools the summer afternoons, and our commitment to letting the grapes tell their own story.

IN OUR VINEYARDS,
VARIETIES
we grow native white varieties such as Macabeu, Cartoixà and Moscatel. We have traditional red varieties such as Grenache, Ull de Llebre and Sumoll, as well as international varieties, although in smaller quantities, such as Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The crops are controlled and certified by the Catalan Council of Ecological Agriculture (CCPAE).
NATURAL HERITAGE
Besides our own vineyards, we also cultivate plots belonging to local families who can no longer work the land or have no one to continue the tradition. In total, we manage 38 hectares: 20 hectares of vineyards, 4 of olive groves, 5 of sown fields, and 9 of carob trees. By doing so, we help preserve the local winegrowing heritage, keep the landscape alive, and contribute to a healthier, more resilient environment that helps reduce the risk of wildfires.



IT ALL BEGINS IN 2010,
OUR STORY
when we created Celler 9+ in Nou de Gaià, in the Tarragonès region, with the idea of making different wines from our own vineyards, influenced by the Mediterranean Sea.
We believe that making organic and sulfite-free wines is, rather than a whim or an invention, a necessity. Pollutants are often present, not only in the air we breathe, but in the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the materials we use... Returning to the origins is part of the process of change: cultivating the earth with respect, making the wines by listening to them, opening the senses to what surrounds us.
We work to make conscious wines to be able to enjoy with family, friends or yourself, without fear of the consequences of a poorly made wine. We seek that everything is fair and perfect in its scope...

THE WINEMAKER,
WINEMAKER
Moisès Virgili i Rovira, is the starter of this project. Nouenc from head to toe, he has been closely connected to the land since childhood, nurturing a passion for agriculture that led him to study Oenology and Agri-Food Engineering.
After gaining experience at renowned wineries and taking part in harvests around the world, he decided to bring his own winemaking vision to life: creating a winery where he could craft wines from grapes grown in his own vineyards and fully express their unique character.
Given his desire to innovate in such a small sector as organic and sulfite-free wines and the unconditional support of his family, the winery grows and evolves following a very clear philosophy: the future will be sustainable or there won't be one at all.
