Ai Mareta is a natural wine with a classic expression. A round but firm red with notes of red fruit and blueberries. It invites you to pause and reflect on the things that really matter, a love declaration.

Mèdol Blanc: Productos

Vineyards cultivated in organic agriculture and located in Nou de Gaià, municipality of Tarragonès, about 4 km in a straight line to the Mediterranean Sea.

The sea breeze, called Marinada, which in the summer months starts blowing around ten in the morning, protects us from excesses of heat that allow a magnificent and constant ripening of the grapes, avoiding the overripening of grapes grown in warmer climates interiors

The soils are generally sandy loam with low fertility.

The blend contains 70% Sumoi and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Sumoi grapes are destemmed and placed in stainless steel tanks to which we add low-pressure Cabernet must. Fermentation and maceration lasts 10 days at a temperature of between 22 and 24ºC.

Once the maceration is finished, the grapes are pressed, separating the low-pressure wine from the high-pressure wine. This low pressure wine is used to make Ai Mareta wine.

The wine remains in stainless steel tanks for 1 day to decant the solid parts and the clear part in French oak barrels of 225 and 300 liters. It ages in French oak barrels of 225 and 300 liters with an average age of 10 years to soften the wine, gain volume and prevent reduction. After 10 months, the wine is bottled.

We do not add any kind of preservatives, clarifiers, stabilizers or sulfites, only grapes, as natural as possible.
